Handicap took a big hit with my last 2 cards!

What a great night last night at the Golfie, 1st members draw which didn’t go off so will jackpot next week!! 🥳 then the Dolf Mele Auction. Was a much more even field than most recent years so anyone is in the game. Kleiny was the biggest money earner (and the biggest buyer)!! We have a healthy pool total of $9880, which will be awesome to walk away with. This year we changed things up a bit by taxing the winning bidders an extra $25 to have them pay their players registration. That money will sit in a separate players pool with the runner up receding $250 and the winning golfer being awarded $550. We figured it only fair given they are the ones doing the work!! We did the draw immediately after so players know who they are facing off against in the 1st round. I’ll have that up by the end of the weekend for all to see.
Good luck everyone!!

Both on satdy
Come down for the traditional Groote Eylandt introduction to golf and our club.
The day was started by one of our founding fathers in "Tuck" Marsh, many years ago.
No handicap required.
Pool comp in the evening along with the Dolf Auction.
We have had to shift it to Saturday due to a clash with the Fish.
There are only three spots left for Entry into the Mele. Would be great to see those filled prior to the auction. This year the two finalist are in for a couple of great prizes.
Golf will be 12.30 for 1ish start.
Auction and pool comp in the evening.
